How we handle your data.
Last updated: September 2026. Compliant with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Greek Law 4624/2019.
1. Who we are
Electronic Studio is a sole proprietorship (ατομική επιχείρηση) registered in Greece, operating from Χρυσοστόμου Σμύρνης 7, Νέα Μουδανιά, Halkidiki 63200. For data-protection purposes we act as the data controller.
Contact for data-protection enquiries: info@electronicstudio.gr · +30 2373 400 806.
2. What data we collect
We collect only the personal data needed to provide our services and respond to enquiries:
- Contact details (name, phone, email) you provide in the contact form, by phone, by email, or in person.
- Device information you share when booking a repair or installation (model, serial, fault description, photos).
- Billing information (name, VAT number, address) for invoicing — only when a paid service is rendered.
- Technical logs from our website (IP address, browser type, pages visited) — see our cookie policy.
3. What we do not collect
We do not collect special-category data (health, religion, political opinions, etc.). We do not buy or sell personal data. We do not run advertising networks or behavioural tracking on this site.
4. How we use your data
- To respond to your enquiry and provide the service you request (legal basis: contract / pre-contractual steps).
- To invoice and maintain tax records (legal basis: legal obligation — Greek tax law).
- To maintain a basic record of past repairs for warranty purposes (legal basis: legitimate interest — twelve-month warranty commitment).
- To send service reminders and follow-ups you've opted into (legal basis: consent — withdrawable at any time).
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell or rent your data. We share only with:
- Parts suppliers, when a repair requires a special-order component (only the minimum needed: model and shipping address).
- Our accountant and tax advisor (only for invoiced transactions).
- Greek tax authorities (tax records as required by law).
6. How long we keep data
Tax-relevant records: 10 years (Greek tax law). Repair records for warranty: 12 months after service. Contact-form messages that didn't lead to a service: deleted within 6 months unless you ask us to keep them.
7. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — correct data that's wrong or incomplete.
- Erasure — request deletion where we have no legal basis to keep it.
- Restriction — limit how we process your data while a dispute is resolved.
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Object — to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Withdraw consent — at any time, where processing is based on consent.
- Lodge a complaint — with the Greek Data Protection Authority (HDPA / ΑΠΔΠΧ) at dpa.gr.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@electronicstudio.gr. We respond within 30 days.
8. Security
Paper records are kept in a locked cabinet at the workshop. Digital records are stored on encrypted drives within the EU. Access is restricted to the data controller and (for invoicing) our accountant under confidentiality.
Website traffic uses HTTPS once the SSL certificate is active. The contact form submission is not stored in a third-party database; messages go directly to our mailbox.
9. Children
Our services are aimed at adult customers. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe we've collected data from a minor, contact us and we'll delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when our practices change. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for at least 30 days before they take effect.
This policy is also available in Greek on request.
